Lune Valley Dog Training Club (obedience section) is run following the Kennel Club Good Citizen guidelines.  Our classes start with a 10 week puppy foundation course for puppies up to 6 months of age covering all aspects of owning and training a puppy.

For dogs 6 months and over and people new to dog training we have our new handlers course, run over 10 weeks with the aim of giving you a good foundation in basic training methods.

​

Following on from here are the Good Citizen assessment classes, there are three levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold.  Over a 10 week course we will guide you through the requirements for each level to enable you to complete the assessment and gain your certificate on passing (each level has to be passed before moving onto the next).

Many of our members regularly compete in other areas of dog sports from Competition Obedience, Agility, Rally and Heel-work to Music and can offer a wealth of experience and knowledge.  See our links page for more information.
